Free Laptops in Tamil Nadu from January 2012

Well, it is not just Tamil Nadu which this issue is all about. Althoug it surfaced in India's southermost state, the ripples of "free laptops" were also felt in Uttar Pradesh as well with the effects on channel partners similar to that of Tamil Nadu. Politicians wantonly announce free laptop schemes during elections. Subsequent fulfillment is another ballgame with partners bearing the brunt. The DQ Week highlighted the problem in a few states.
