ASIRT techday focuses on cyber security

Association of System Integrators and Retailers in Technology (ASIRT) conducted its techday on May 25. The event, in its second edition, primarily focused on the opportunities available in the security space especially cyberspace. It had an engaging presentation from Ninad Nawaghare, CEO, White Hat School of Technologies, which is a consortium of experienced techies and industry professionals with a long-term vision of achieving a common goal of providing state of art end-to-end cyber security services and solutions. The celebrated speaker on cybercrime detection and forensics elaborated upon the intricate world of digital frauds, prevention and detection. Talking on similar lines was Pravin Rege of Durga Computers and ASIRT treasurer, who also shared his experience of cybercrime space and talked about the plethora of business opportunities to be tapped in the security space.

Besides, the association also roped in Sanjay Mehta, well-known social media marketing guru and founder and joint CEO of social wavelength, one of India's leading pure-play social media agencies. He enthralled the audience with his ideas on how to effectively use social media marketing tools and websites to promote business and build brands online.

HP India also participated in the event and introduced an e-print solution. Ankur Arora, area sales manager, IPC-IWS divsion, HP India, shared with the audience the latest printing solution from HP and also showcased and gave a demo at the do.
