ASIRT launches its portal ASIRT-Connect

The Mumbai based Association of System Integrators & Retail in Technology (ASIRT) has launched its partnering and collaboration portal ASIRT-CONNECT (http://connect.asirt.in) beta and is now live. "With this portal, ASIRT aims to help its members and partners to seamlessly create winning business partnerships," said Chetan Shah, chairman, ASIRT.

According to ASIRT, when the SI and retail industry is so fragmented in the Indian IT channel market, most of the partners can not grab a lot of IT business opportunities because of lack of a proper ecosystem for partnering and collaboration. This gives rise to many problems, largely leading to utterly low margins and nonviable business environments. "Hence, with this small but significant step, we aim to bring the entire industry under one banner and more importantly start partnering for mutual benefits," said Shah.

Speaking elaborately about the portal, Shah further explained that the ASIRT 'Opportunities board' on the ASIRT site www.asirt.in allows an easy, seamless and a fast way to offer and find new business opportunities. The board allows a partner to put up new business opportunities which he himself cannot service and is seeking a collaboration to fulfill that need. Similarly, a lot of such opportunities will fructify for partners offering unique products, solutions, prices or other business advantages.
