Tiruvannamalai Information Technology Association (TVMITA) has got new office-bearers for 2015-16. Ethiraj V of G.V.Computers was sworn in as president while Sundaramoorthy of Sun Systems was appointed the secretary and Babu of Com.com as treasurer. The program is sponsored by Acer India and co-sponsored by Canon India.
Acknowledging the new role, Ethiraj explained the roadmap of the schemes he would implement in his tenure.
He said that he will try to change the dealer of members to RD level and build a fund deposit in the name of association.
“For day-to-day and meeting expenses, the Association money will not be utilized and all the programs would be sponsored by vendors and RDs. Training programs on service and sales will be offered to the members. This year the focus will be on member development while in past years the association focused on social activities. A new website will be launched soon,” he said.
The association is planning to introduce a ‘toll-free’ service number within the district. With the number, any customer who wants a sale or service can contact their nearest TVMITA member who will take the lead and in turn pay certain amount to the association. A new toll free number will be announced soon to facilitate the relationship between customer and members.
