Control Z Launches Holi Buy One Offer
Control Z has launched a nationwide promotional campaign titled the Control Z Holi Buy One Get One Offer, combining online and in-store sales incentives to attract buyers during the Holi festival season. The refurbished smartphone retailer announced that customers purchasing eligible devices during the campaign period will receive an assured free smartphone.
The offer will run from 4 March to 8 March 2026 across the company’s website and selected retail locations. The campaign includes slab-based online incentives as well as a limited in-store event designed to generate footfall and festive participation.
Online Offer Structure and Free Smartphone Slabs
Under the online campaign, customers purchasing smartphones within specified price ranges will receive an assured free device. The offer follows a tiered structure linked to purchase value.
The slab-based rewards include:
Purchases between ₹15,000 and ₹19,999: free Realme C61
Purchases between ₹20,000 and ₹29,999: free Realme C63 5G
Purchases between ₹30,000 and ₹39,999: free Realme 14X
In addition to these tiers, the company is extending a separate incentive for customers purchasing selected premium smartphones.
Buyers of devices such as iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and iPhone 15 Pro Max will also receive a Realme C61 smartphone as part of the promotion.
The offer is available through Control Z’s online platform for the full campaign period.
Exclusive In-Store Drop in Gurugram
The promotion will culminate in an in-store campaign event on 8 March 2026 at the Control Z retail location in Sector 14, Gurugram.
The company confirmed that the event will be limited to the first 50 customers, with devices sold at fixed store prices. Eligible buyers during this event will receive free smartphones under the same slab-based structure applied to online purchases.
This one-day in-store activation is designed to complement the online campaign and generate local engagement.
Company Perspective on the Campaign
According to Yug Bhatia, Founder of Control Z, the Holi campaign aims to combine festive celebration with smartphone accessibility.
“Holi is a time of celebration and gifting, and with our Extended Holi Mega Drop we want to make premium smartphones more accessible while creating excitement for customers across India. By combining strong online offers with an exclusive in-store experience, we aim to drive festive cheer and deliver unmatched value,” Bhatia said.
The campaign strategy blends digital outreach with a physical retail experience to encourage nationwide participation.
Campaign Strategy and Market Engagement
Control Z indicated that the Holi promotion is designed to generate multiple engagement outcomes. These include increasing online traffic, creating urgency through time-bound deals, and driving store visits for the final event in Gurugram.
By structuring the promotion around assured rewards rather than lotteries or discounts, the campaign positions free devices as the primary incentive for purchase.
The company expects the combined online and in-store strategy to amplify visibility during the festive period while expanding consumer awareness of refurbished smartphone offerings.
