Sennheiser DeviceHub cloud-based device management platform launches

Sennheiser has announced the public beta availability of its DeviceHub cloud-based device management platform, designed to provide organisations with centralised visibility and control of networked devices across locations.

Following internal testing and a private beta phase, the platform is now accessible in beta, initially supporting TeamConnect Bar Solutions. Additional Sennheiser devices are scheduled to gain compatibility through 2026 as part of the broader DeviceHub roadmap.

The announcement follows the platform’s initial unveiling at InfoComm US in June 2025.

Centralised browser-based management

The Sennheiser DeviceHub cloud-based device management platform enables remote monitoring and management of devices through a standard web browser. IT and AV teams can view device status, performance metrics and alerts in real time.

The platform allows devices to be organised by room, building, campus or region, mirroring physical environments. This structure provides visibility across individual rooms as well as distributed estates, enabling teams to navigate locations and assess system health from a single interface.

Real-time diagnostics and alerts are designed to help teams respond to potential issues before they affect meetings, classrooms or collaboration spaces.

Role-based access and security architecture

The platform incorporates role-based access controls to limit visibility and permissions according to user responsibilities. Technicians, administrators and integrators can access only the systems and locations relevant to their roles.

Modern authentication methods are supported to reinforce secure collaboration across teams. Responsibilities remain segmented, with defined access levels and streamlined workflows.

DeviceHub is built on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. According to the company, the platform follows recognised IT security standards across authentication, authorisation, encryption and data handling. Ongoing compliance oversight is intended to meet privacy and security requirements in enterprise and education environments.

Scalability and deployment

At launch, the Sennheiser DeviceHub cloud-based device management platform supports TeamConnect Bar Solutions. Compatibility with additional Sennheiser devices will expand throughout 2026.

For single-device configuration, a streamlined Local Web UI enables setup through a browser without additional software dependencies. This approach aims to simplify installation and onboarding processes.

The company stated that the platform will continue to evolve with expanded monitoring and configuration capabilities across its ecosystem.

Customer feedback highlights operational gains

Early users have reported operational benefits during the beta phase.

Guillaume Amaurin, AV Specialist, Sainte-Justine Hospital, Quebec, said DeviceHub simplified infrastructure management, enabling faster onboarding of new devices through a single configuration process. He noted that the portal is accessed daily by the team to configure and monitor usage remotely.

Alain Lamontagne, IT Specialist, Sainte-Justine Hospital, Quebec, compared DeviceHub to the previous Cockpit-based method. He said the earlier approach was limited to a single computer and required devices to be re-added when systems changed. According to him, the new platform improves flexibility and time efficiency, with expectations of adding more synchronised devices in future.

Roadmap and positioning

The Sennheiser DeviceHub cloud-based device management platform represents a shift toward centralised, browser-based management of distributed AV infrastructure. With public beta availability now open and broader device support planned for 2026, the platform extends cloud-based oversight across the company’s collaboration portfolio.

The rollout signals a structured move toward scalable, secure device management as organisations increasingly operate across multiple locations and hybrid environment.
