Vu Launches vibe DV: QLED TV with built-in soundbar for India
In a bold move to redefine living room entertainment, Vu Televisions has launched the Vu Vibe DV, billed as the world's first QLED TV with an integrated soundbar and built to fit the lifestyle of modern apartment living.
This release marks the latest innovation from Vu, known for pushing the boundaries of TV tech in India. The Vu Vibe DV—short for “Designer’s Vision”—brings together a combination of high-end visual and audio technology in a sleek, minimalist design tailored to urban homes where space is at a premium.
A Fusion of Picture and Sound
The Vu Vibe DV series features an A+ grade QLED panel and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, technologies more commonly found in high-end televisions. The company says it collaborated with the Hollywood Filmmakers Association to ensure colour and contrast reproduction stay true to the director’s intent. The panel offers a brightness of 400 nits and is powered by the VuOn AI processor, which enhances picture quality through turbo upscaling.
Sound is a central feature. Vu claims to have created the world's first television with a built-in 88-watt soundbar that supports Dolby Atmos, eliminating the need for external speakers. An ‘audio only’ mode allows users to use the TV purely as a music system, while a custom sound profile selector lets viewers optimise audio settings for different genres.
Smart Tech Meets User Convenience
Running on Google TV OS, the Vu Vibe DV allows seamless access to major streaming apps and music platforms like Spotify and YouTube. The VuOn AI processor promises lag-free content delivery and fast casting across devices.
Where the Vu Vibe DV stands out is its approach to remote control. Vu introduces the world’s first remote with a Wi-Fi hotkey—designed to address the common issue of connectivity interruptions in Indian homes. The remote also features dedicated buttons for cricket and cinema modes, along with a distinctive upright design meant to match the sleekness of the TV itself.
Designed for the Modern Flat
The television is built with urban living in mind. With a thin, bezel-less display, an all-black finish and a built-in soundbar that eliminates cable clutter, the Vu Vibe DV is made to blend seamlessly into compact living rooms. Whether wall-mounted or table-placed, the design emphasises form without compromising function.
Availability and Pricing
The Vu Vibe DV is now available for purchase on Amazon India and through major retail outlets across the country. It comes in five sizes—43”, 50”, 55”, 65” and 75”—with prices ranging from ₹26,999 to ₹66,999
