Vivo Y400 Pro debuts in India with 4K cameras and 90W charging
vivo has officially launched the Y400 Pro in India, expanding its Y series with a device that blends design, imaging power and smart performance tools. Billed as the slimmest 3D curved display smartphone in its category, the Y400 Pro is now available for sale across major platforms including vivo India’s e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retail stores.
The smartphone hits the shelves with a price tag of Rs 24,999 for the 8+128 GB variant and Rs 26,999 for the 8+256 GB version. It comes in three colour options — Freestyle White, Fest Gold and Nebula Purple — with each white unit featuring a unique design, thanks to a precision-controlled manufacturing process.
Feature-rich and camera-ready
One of the key highlights of the Y400 Pro is its imaging hardware. The device is fitted with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary lens at the back and a 32 MP front-facing camera — both capable of recording in 4K. Add to that AI-driven tools like Photo Enhance and AI Erase 2.0, and you’ve got a smartphone geared toward content creators and everyday users alike.
Its curved AMOLED FHD+ display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and peaks at 4500 nits brightness, making it suitable for binge-watching, outdoor viewing, and streaming 4K HDR content on platforms like Netflix and YouTube.
Performance on tap, and fast charging to match
Under the hood, the vivo Y400 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor — a chip that’s designed to handle multitasking without thermal fatigue. Paired with a 5500mAh battery and 90W FlashCharge support, the phone promises hours of use after just minutes of plug-in time.
Smart additions like battery health tracking, bypass charging, and Circle to Search enhance both efficiency and usability, while AI tools like Superlink and Transcript Assist aim to streamline work and communication.
Offers and availability
The brand is offering a series of purchase benefits between June 20 and 30, including:
-
Up to 10% cashback on select cards from SBI, DBS, IDFC FIRST Bank, BOBCARD, Federal Bank, and Yes Bank
-
Zero down payment options for up to 10 months

Besides the polished aesthetics, vivo claims the Y400 Pro is built to last. It carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and has undergone various durability tests. The goal is clear to create a device that doesn’t just look good, but can handle the wear and tear of everyday hustle.
The Y400 Pro isn’t just another smartphone launch. It’s vivo’s answer to the rising demand for mid-range devices that blend style, media performance and practical durability. In an era where users want quick charging, better selfies, AI tools and binge-ready screens, all without burning a hole in their pockets, this device attempts to strike that fine balance.
The segment is crowded. But with a design-led approach and meaningful upgrades under the hood, vivo seems to be carving out its own lane in India’s youth-centric smartphone race.
