Online scams seem to be on the rise in India. Online scams are fraudulent schemes that are carried out through the internet with the aim of defrauding unsuspecting individuals or organizations. These scams can take many forms, and they often involve some form of deception or trickery. The Harris Poll on behalf of NortonLifeLock recently revealed that nearly 62 percent of Indians have faced online shopping scams during the festive season.
