Vodafone hits Rajasthan with a strategy

Vodafone which has invested in previous financial year for strengthening the network, retail and distribution in Rajasthan circle and will continue to do in the present financial year .

Pursuing a specific retail growth strategy in Rajasthan, Vodafone has already launched 9 Vodafone Stores (VS) and 50 Vodafone Mini Stores (VMS) in the last 12 months.

Vodafone in the last one month has launched 8 Global Design Retail stores across Jaipur, Kishangarh, Baswara, Chittorgarh, Ganganagar, Kota and Hanumangarh, in Rajasthan. Additionally, Vodafone has over the years expanded its network reach to cover 90% population of Rajasthan.

Talking about the initiatives taken by Vodafone, Amit Bedi, business head, Rajasthan, Vodafone India, said, “With the largest retail footprint in the country, Vodafone believes in remaining accessible to our valued customers across urban and rural locations. Our latest retail expansion in Rajasthan with the launch of ten new Global Design Stores within a single month is led by this same customer centricity focus. I am proud to say that is a reaffirmation of our retail leadership in the state.”

Earlier, Vodafone has launched five Global Design Stores in Kolkata. Continuing its retail expansion strategy across India, Vodafone has launched more than 160 Vodafone Stores and over 1000 Vodafone mini stores across India in FY14-15.

Understanding the market dynamics and with more customers adopting smart phones and mobile internet, we have taken an innovative approach in retail design. Vodafone has also taken the lead to develop user friendly digital interface opportunities that allow customers to access our wide spectrum of services on-the-go and hassle-free.
