TP-Link sets eyes on festive season

Networking solution vendor, TP-Link is gearing up for the festive season and is expecting a profitable quarter ahead. The company is working out on channel engagement activities, in addition to unveiling new products in the market.

Bijoy Ayalyo, sales manager, Mumbai, TP-Link India said, "The festive season always gives a rise in demand for all the products in the market as seen before. So this is the best time to increase the visibility of the products and the brand in the retail market to get more sale and increase the brand value." He further added, "Many factors such as brand promotions through shop end visibility, hoardings at market place, special promotions on fast moving products and extra benefits for distributors as well as dealers will definitely add on to the OND quarter growth."

The Indian channel market has seen a high rise for TP-Link during the past 1 year and the company officials state their growth trend has been positive and incremental. Going ahead, the company is planning to tap all opportunities arising in this festive season. Ayalyo said, "To boost our sales, we are planning to get in more interesting products such as the battery powered 3G router and the any sim data card, which received a heavy demand during the exhibitions all over India."

TP-Link plans to unveil these products in the coming quarter. In addition, the company is working out special offers for the dealers to attract more dealer attention on the brand.

At the channel engagement front, the company is planning to conduct a dealer meet with an aim to increase its dealer-base. At this meet, education programs will be conducted. Adding to this, Ayalyo said, "We are even planning for trainings for our distributor channel to make our distributors more strong on their technical know how about TP-Link."
