Students across the globe are invited to join the contest, without limitation to age, nationality, or gender, as individual or team contestants. The entries will be selected in three rounds of competition; the entry proposals are to be written in English, followed by presentations. The entries will be judged by a panel of respected international academics and representatives from leading global enterprises.

About the unique contest, S Rajendran, chief marketing officer, Acer India said, "We are excited to launch this contest along with Acer Inc. We believe this competition will unearth the hidden talent of all participants stimulating their inspiration and ingenuity in international innovation beyond borders. Acer's strong foothold in both government and private education segment will form an ideal platform for us to promote this contest through multiple platforms. Our robust network and association with channel community and Large Format Retail (LFR) stores will help us reach out to
a larger base of students across the country. Apart from exploring on ground activations, we will also capitalize on the new-age media to reach out to the student community, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and others. We expect great enthusiasm from students and support from all the parents to participate in such an exciting event.

The Green Contest is jointly sponsoring by Acer Foundation and Taiwan Institute for Sustainable
Energy (TAISE) for promotion of Taiwan's integration with the global green movement.
