The DQ Week Tech Caravan reached the Nashik this month wherein almost 70 partners attended the event held at the city's Hotel Express Inn. Some of the key issues, like the service and support problems, challenges from online trading, non-standard MRP related issues among others, were discussed at the event.
The local channel partners associated with Computer Association of Nashik (CAN) turned up in a significant number to discuss the current market trends and challenges faced by the community. The panel discussion drove the interactive conversations. The panelist included association executive body members Zakir, Ajay, Sharad and Vinay.
The discussion kicked off by the subject of service and support problem, which is one of the key pain areas for partners in this region. Following this, the members discussed at length warranty related issues, DOA policies and challenges related to it, parallel imports and importers, and emerging threat from e-commerce portals.
Vendors like Norton, Uniline and Western Digital associated with Baroda Tech Caravan, also attended the event. While Norton presented its latest security solutions, Uniline shared information on its channel policies and structure and product line.
