Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Network Video Recorder (NVR) provider, QNAP systems has appointed Iris Computers as its nationwide Value added distributor (VAD). Earlier in 2010, it had entered into a distribution agreement with Redington to fulfill the demands in the network data storage market, and will continue its role.
Commenting on this development, Ethan Wang, territory manager India, QNAP Systems said, "With a significant hold in India, Iris has successfully positioned itself as a focused supply chain solutions player. This tie-up is intended for a long-term business relationship with QNAP to reach out to customers across India. Iris has all the necessary expertise and experience to help us build a strong footprint for our products in India."
With SMB segment in India showing lots of promise for growth, this addition to QNAP team will help to address the channel community serving this segment in a better way. "We have framed out an aggressive marketing program with Iris to leverage on their enterprise and SMB segment. This partnership will be a strategic move designed to further strengthen our focus on the enterprise space where we see a huge opportunity for big data customer," added Wang.
Iris Computers consecutively registered a growth above the industry average over the years achieving landmark Rs. 1100 revenue during FY12. With its growing product lines and tieups with brands like QNAP Systems, it seems Iris Computers is aggressively pursuing its high trajectory growth path to spread its reach further.
