Computers & Media Dealers Association, CMDA Pune, recently conducted System Integrator (SI) and Regional Distributor (RD) meets, at two separate events.
The meetings marked trade concerns like DOA policy, service issues, margins, LBT, etc.
The SI meet, presented by CMDA managing committee member Mangesh Bhalerao, discussed various business challenges and its was suggested by president Ratnesh Rathi to have uniform pricing from vendors. All members were also appealed to maintain MOP and follow trade guidelines for smooth operations.
The president and secretary Rahul Khurd assured all members the best possible solution to all issues, adding that members should highlight problems, where they fail to get vendors' support, to the managing committee for the solution.
Bhalerao also informed members about the tie-up with private banks for easy EMI plans through credit cards.
Meanwhile, the RD meet also pondered over such key concerns faced by the members.
CMDA managing committee member Aniruddha Menavlikar gave the presentation highlighting the problems of RDs with probable solutions to them.
The meeting also discussed the freezing of policy for appointing new Rd by any vendor if the set process/policy is not followed.
The president also explained the necessity of forming a separate sub-committee for follow-up on decisions taken at the RD meet.
