CMDA elects new committee for 2013-14

The association announced its new committee and also discussed channel-centric activities

Pune based Computer Media and Dealer Association Pune (CMDA) recently concluded its 21st Annual General Body meeting at Key's Resort, Mahabaleshwar on 21st June 2013. The association announced its new committee and also discussed channel-centric activities and initiatives at length.

Following the AGM, Ratnesh Rathi has been elected as the new president and Rahul Khurd as the secretary along with new committee. Addressing the general body, Rathi said that he will see that CMDA will get new highs and will work for the betterment of the community. He further added, "The challenges that CMDA face is of maintaining margin and fulfilling and nourishing the every member business."

Furthermore, Aniruddha Menavlikar will be the vice president. While, Narendra Bheda has taken up the responsibility of jt secretary and Narendra Modi will be the treasurer. Abhay Jail has been appointed as the jt treasurer. In addition to this, the association has appointed new committee members and 3 member advisory committee.

At operational level, CMDA has bought new office of 2200 Sq feet. Adding to this, Rathi said, "Objective of the new office is to benefit the members by making a conventional center, Hardware Institute, etc. This will be soon operational and member will enjoy the facility.

CMDA conducts multiple activities in an year for their members like IT Exhibition - ITEXPO, technical and management seminars, Diwali mela, annual diary, free health checkup, vendor meet, regional distributors and national distributors meet, ID cards benefit, sports day, charity, CMDA Times Magazine. The association had made State and Central government representation, where it was fully involved in educating channel partners and common man as well as agitation against Local Body Tax (LBT). Adding to this, Rathi said, "CMDA was involved in making the rules and regulation of LBT more simplified which got the success." The new president assured that all the ongoing program will continue.
