Catering to the growing demand from the customers in the upcountry markets, Nashik based Nice Computers has expanded into the new market, Aurangabad, which will fulfill the requirements arising in the Marathwada region.
Nitin Gite, director, Nice Computers said, "Earlier in the beginning of the financial year, we had plans to expand into other territories as we only had a strong presence in North Maharashtra. This expansion is inline with it. We aspire to cater to emerging demands from this region through a direct office and it will be our distribution point for the entire Marathwada region."
The new Aurangabad office will have Acer Desktop, Acer TFT and Gateway products. In addition, Minitek Systems, a sister concern of Nice Computers, has also extended its operations and has established offices in Mumbai and Pune to cater to these markets.
At an operational level, the company has implemented Tally ERP and all its offices are today on a wireless connection connected to a central server. Also, the company has invested into security and surveillance by installing CCTVs at its outlets in Nashik.
Gite said, "The entire overhaul required an investment of approximately Rs.20 Lakhs. Going ahead, we will monitor the outcome of this office and on the basis of the results we will pursue our
expansion plans."
