Smart AI M9 monitor: 4K OLED, multitasking power
Samsung has added serious muscle to its Smart Monitor lineup with the debut of the M9 (M90SF), a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED display, alongside refreshed versions of its M8 and M7 screens. Packed with AI-driven enhancements, the new monitors aim to serve professionals, gamers and content streamers with one unified screen experience.
This move underscores the growing overlap between work and play in how we use displays today. With hybrid work now the norm and content consumption surging, Samsung appears to be targeting a sweet spot: do-it-all displays that adapt in real-time.
“The M9 transforms a traditional monitor into a personalised, immersive screen,” said Puneet Sethi, VP of Enterprise Business, Samsung India. “From picture to sound, everything adapts in real-time, thanks to AI.”
Flagship M9: All-in-one meets all-around
This isn’t just a monitor with bells and whistles. The M9 introduces QD-OLED to Samsung’s Smart Monitor range — a first. The panel is engineered for deeper blacks, vivid colour reproduction and sharper contrast. Add to that a metal chassis and glare-free surface, and you get a display that fits into both design studios and executive desks.
AI features are front and centre. The monitor uses AI Picture Optimiser, 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AVA Pro to fine-tune visuals and audio automatically. Whether you're streaming a thriller or editing a video, the display adjusts to the scene and surroundings.
Another thoughtful touch — OLED Safeguard+ — aims to prolong panel life by reducing burn-in risks using a custom cooling mechanism.
Gaming isn’t an afterthought either. With a 165Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, the M9 targets users who bounce between spreadsheets and cloud-based gaming.
Everyday brilliance: M8 and M7 get smarter
Samsung has also upgraded the M8 (M80SF) and M7 (M70F) monitors with 32-inch 4K UHD displays and better integration across platforms. Both offer a mix of AI-driven tools like Click to Search and run on the Tizen OS. That means smarter content discovery, faster workflows and seamless access to entertainment.
All three models sync easily with SmartThings and offer Multi-View and Multi-Control features — handy for switching between personal and work devices. Even without a PC, users can open Microsoft 365 files directly on the screen.
This makes them equally suitable for homes, small studios and shared offices.
The new Smart Monitor series hits stores between July 7 and July 20, 2025. Buyers can avail up to Rs 3,000 as an instant cart discount during the launch phase, across retail and online channels.
