iPhone 17 price drops in Croma’s Black Friday push

Croma has announced a major Black Friday promotion that brings the effective price of the iPhone 17 down to Rs 45,900 from its launch figure of Rs 82,900. The offer, valid until 30 November 2025, layers bank cashback with exchange benefits to arrive at the reduced amount. The retail chain is positioning this as one of its strongest smartphone deals of the season.

How the pricing drops

The promotion combines three components that come together to bring down the overall cost. The bank cashback contributes the first Rs 1,000 reduction. The exchange value provides the largest cut, offering up to Rs 29,000 based on the age, condition and model of the smartphone being traded in. A fixed exchange bonus of Rs 7,000 is added on top, ensuring that even older devices qualify for a predictable level of savings.

Croma notes that customers exchanging newer phones or better-maintained models stand the best chance of reaching the maximum benefit. The entire process is available through Croma stores, which handle both the purchase and the assessment of the device being exchanged.

What the device offers

The iPhone 17 brings several upgrades over the previous model. It includes a 120Hz ProMotion display intended to provide smoother interactions and improved clarity for apps and video use. The A19 chipset powers the phone, supporting higher workloads and energy efficiency across day-to-day tasks.

On the camera front, the phone includes an 18-megapixel front camera with Centre Stage support. The feature keeps users in frame during video calls. The rear dual-camera system continues with a 48-megapixel main camera and a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera. These upgrades are aimed at enhancing performance in low light and improving overall detail across different shooting conditions.

Charging speeds also receive an update. The device supports 40W wired charging, designed to shorten recharge times for heavy users.

Availability and shopping timeline

The offer remains open until 30 November 2025, coinciding with the extended Black Friday shopping window that has grown in India over recent years. All purchases have to be made through Croma stores, which also handle the exchange component and ensure that the discounted pricing is applied correctly.

The company is presenting the offer as an opportunity for customers planning an upgrade to combine multiple benefits within a defined shopping period.
