GOBOULT Mustang Thunder launches in India | Premium AI audio series
GOBOULT (formerly BOULT), an Indian audio and wearable brand, has announced the next phase of its collaboration with Mustang, unveiling the Mustang Thunder, a premium expansion of its rapidly growing design-led product ecosystem. Building on the overwhelming response to the first Mustang edition, which achieved record sell-through, the new launch strengthens GOBOULT’s premiumisation strategy and extends a partnership that blends Mustang’s legendary automotive legacy with advanced audio engineering.

GOBOULT Mustang Thunder Sets a New Benchmark in India’s Premium Audio Segment
The Mustang series has quickly emerged as a high-potential product family for GOBOULT. With Mustang Thunder, the brand aims to capture the rising demand for feature-rich, aesthetically distinct audio devices. The series is projected to contribute nearly 15% of revenue in Q3 FY26, with expectations of growing to almost 25% by FY27 as consumer preference shifts decisively toward premium upgrades.
Varun Gupta, Co-founder at GOBOULT, said the Mustang partnership represents far more than a traditional co-branded product line. He emphasised that each launch is shaped by real consumer insights, crafted with precision, and engineered to deliver exceptional value while preserving Mustang’s iconic identity. Through this collaboration, GOBOULT blends automotive heritage with personal technology, transforming classic design cues into contemporary audio experiences.
The Mustang Thunder reflects this philosophy through a refined combination of power and style. It features deep and dynamic sound driven by 40mm bass units, long-lasting 70-hour battery life with fast charging, LED breathing lights showcasing the Mustang pony logo, and Environmental Noise Cancellation for clearer calls. Low-latency performance supports gaming and streaming, while Bluetooth 5.4, AAC and SBC codecs, IPX5 water resistance, and a silver-on-black finish complete the device’s premium appeal.
The Mustang Thunder will be available on Flipkart, Amazon, and Myntra starting November 16, 2025. Priced at Rs. 7,999 (MRP), it debuts at a special launch price of Rs. 2,499, with a Market Operating Price (MOP) of Rs. 2,999. GOBOULT plans to grow the Mustang lineup beyond headphones, with upcoming smartwatches and special-edition TWS devices already in the pipeline.
The company’s recent rebrand has accelerated its premium push. More than 65% of its portfolio now qualifies as premium based on design, finish, and user experience. Early indicators point to rising brand searches, improved consumer engagement, and steady increases in conversions. GOBOULT’s offline presence has expanded to over 12,000 stores, contributing nearly 20% of revenue, and the brand remains on track to reach 30,000+ stores by FY26.
With the Mustang series evolving into a sustained premium line, GOBOULT is positioning itself for strong growth across India’s fast-changing audio and wearables landscape, driven by category expansion, design-led innovation, and nationwide retail momentum.
