Consistent launches long-range HDMI extenders

Consistent Infosystems has expanded its connectivity line-up with two HDMI extenders designed for long-distance signal transmission. The HDMI Extender 60M Standard and HDMI Extender 60M KVM models are built to deliver 1080p60 HD video over CAT5E or CAT6 cabling, with a focus on ease of installation for both professional and home setups.

Long-distance HD transmission

Both extenders transmit HDMI signals through a single CAT5E or CAT6 cable, reducing the need for specialised wiring. According to the company, the devices support transmission up to 50 metres on CAT5E and 60 metres on CAT6 while maintaining stable, distortion-free video output.

The plug-and-play design is intended to remove the need for technical expertise. The Standard version uses a DC5V/1A power supply, while the 60M KVM variant adds Power over Ethernet support, removing the requirement for a separate power source at the receiver end.

KVM control for professional use

The KVM model extends the feature set further by enabling remote keyboard and mouse input. This function makes it suitable for environments such as control rooms, server operations and digital signage installations where remote system management is required.
