Nehru Place Carnival to conclude on December 17

The All Delhi Computer Traders Association (ADCTA) initiated 'Nehru Place Carnival' will be ending soon. The association is all set to host a Gift Draw ceremony at Center Plaza on December 17. The association started the Nehru Place Carnival in the month of October. The objective of this 2-month long carnival was to attract more footfalls to the IT hub and increase the sales of IT dealers by offering discounts to end customers.

Ajay Maken, minister of housing and urban poverty alleviation, will be the chief guest of the event; while Dr AK Walia, health and family welfare minister and Subhash Chopra, MLA will be gracing the occasion.

According to Swarn Singh, joint secretary, ADCTA, "Our maiden attempt to launch this carnival was a big success for our association and its members. Moreover, this scheme was applicable on all the major IT brands. Now, we are excited to announce the lucky draw winners. We are going to distribute an assured gift by producing lucky coupon and proof of purchase on the lucky draw day. Multiple brands have supported the event and many participated in the scheme. The scheme was applicable on multiple products, from a pen drive to high-end products."

During the carnival period, the association registered a 20-30% increase in the footfall.
The association has distributed approximately 50,000 coupons to the end-customers through their IT channels including all major brands like Samsung, LG, Philips, AOC, BenQ, Canon, HP, Sony, CP Plus Dell, Creative, Logitech, Techcom, SVB and so on, covering all products under the scheme. "We have achieved more than we expected. And now gearing up to the final conclusion of the scheme, awaiting final counting of distributed coupons," added Singh.

At the ceremony, the association will be announcing lucky draw winners as well as distribute 500 gifts of worth Rs 20 lakh including cars, bikes and other interesting gifts.
