MacAfee Stars grab the JCDA’s Digisol Cup-2015

Jammu Computers Dealers Association (JCDA) has recently organized Digisol Cup- 2015 at K C Public School, Jammu. Out of 6 teams, final match was played between MacAfee Starts and Saransh Bulls on December 13 at Country Cricket Club, Gharota and MacAfee Starts lifts the Digisol Cup 2015 beating Saransh Bulls in the final.

This tournament was sponsored by Digisol, Acer, HP, Zebronics, MacAfee and Saranch Infotech. This tournament was organized in 3 levels. In the first level on November 22, two matches were played between Acer v/s Digisol and HP Commercial v/s Saransh Infotech. Acer and Saransh Bulls bang with the victory. 3rd match was played on 29th November where Zebronics and MacAfee Stars fought for the place in the final.

Batting first after losing the toss, MacAfee stars set the target of 102 in 20 overs. Jyoti Bamba scored highest 31 runs where Ankush took highest 3 wickets from Saransh Bulls.

Chasing a target of 102, Saransh Bulls could manage to score just 79 runs and lost the final match by 22 runs. H.S Bedi scored 29 runs and Vinay contributed by 12 runs from Saransh Bulls. Kamajeet took 4 wicket from MacAfee Stars to manage their victory with this. Kamaljeet was adjudged as Man of the Match. Ankush got the Bowler of the Series and Jyoti Bamba as Best Batsman and Man of the Series as well.

This was the joint efforts by vendors, association and partners made event successful and entertaining.

Trophies and Cups were distributed amongst winners and players which was followed by lunch.
