Stuffcool launches Zeno, 30W GaN charger with retractable cable
Indian accessories brand Stuffcool has announced the Zeno, the country’s first 30W GaN (Gallium Nitride) fast charger featuring a built-in retractable USB Type-C cable.
Positioned as a blend of power, portability, and practicality, the Zeno eliminates tangled cables without compromising on charging performance, making it a clever solution for users seeking simplicity and speed in one compact device.
“Compact yet mighty, Zeno is a 30W Type-C Fast GaN Charger with a built-in retractable cable, designed to keep you powered up without the clutter of messy wires,” Stuffcool said in a statement. “Whether it’s your iPhone, Pixel, or Samsung flagship, Zeno delivers speed, style, and everyday practicality in one sleek package.”
Designed for fast and safe charging
Priced at Rs. 1,899, the Zeno is available via Stuffcool’s website and partner retail outlets across India.
The charger supports 30W PD PPS fast charging, enabling iPhones and Pixels to reach 50% charge in just 30 minutes. It also supports Samsung’s Super-Fast Charging protocol, ensuring compatibility across major smartphone ecosystems.
The retractable Type-C cable extends up to 75 cm and retracts smoothly into the charger body, eliminating wire clutter, especially for travellers and professionals. The company, however, cautions users to handle the cable carefully, noting that damage from excessive pulling is not covered under replacement.
Built on GaN technology: efficient and compact
At 98 grams and measuring 7.45 x 4.25 x 4.5 cm, Zeno embodies Stuffcool’s design philosophy: smaller, faster, cooler.
The charger uses advanced GaN technology, known for delivering higher energy efficiency with lower heat generation, allowing compact designs without compromising performance or safety. It is also BIS-certified and Made in India, marking another step in the country’s growing domestic electronics innovation ecosystem.
Competitive landscape: rising GaN adoption in India
Stuffcool’s launch follows Oakter’s recent debut of its 65W True GaN charger, priced at Rs. 1,399, which features PD 3.0 and PPS output and advanced thermal management for high-power devices.
While Oakter’s offering targets multi-device users with higher power needs, Stuffcool’s Zeno caters to mainstream smartphone owners who value portability and design integration over raw wattage.
Together, these launches signal a broader shift toward GaN-based charging solutions in India, where efficiency, miniaturisation, and sustainability are increasingly shaping user preferences.
The bigger picture: evolving consumer expectations
As mobile hardware continues to demand faster charging within smaller footprints, Indian accessory makers are stepping up innovation. Zeno’s built-in retractable design not only eliminates cable clutter but also demonstrates how micro-level design improvements can significantly enhance user experience and convenience.
