IFA 2025: Acer unveils AI-powered laptops, workstations and projectors

Acer has announced a wide portfolio of new products at IFA 2025, showcasing innovations across AI laptops, ultralight devices, mini workstations, and eco-friendly projectors. The launches underline Acer’s commitment to empowering modern professionals, small and medium businesses, and creators with AI-driven performance, mobility, and sustainability.

TravelMate X14 AI and eco-friendly Vero projectors

Acer introduced the TravelMate X14 AI Copilot+ PC, a business laptop designed for SMBs and hybrid professionals. Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, the 1.27 kg device delivers up to 115 TOPS of performance for AI-enhanced productivity. Built to MIL-STD 810H standards, it combines durability with portability and offers features such as an optional OLED display, Acer PurifiedView 2.0, and advanced security tools.

Alongside the laptop, Acer launched three sustainable Vero laser projectors – the Vero XL2320p, Vero XL2521, and Vero SL2520n. These mercury-free projectors consume 40% less power than traditional models, deliver up to 30,000 hours lifespan, and are built with post-consumer recycled plastic. With up to 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness, multiple projection modes, and immersive audio, they are designed for modern offices and classrooms.

Chromebook Plus Spin 514 and new Chromeboxes

The Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 514 marks the company’s first Chromebook powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 processor with integrated NPU, delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. The convertible Chromebook supports Google AI features such as smart grouping, image editing, and real-time search with Lens, while offering up to 17 hours of battery life. With a 14-inch WQXGA+ or WUXGA touchscreen display, military-grade durability, and support for USI 2.0 stylus, it targets students, creators, and mobile employees.

Acer also introduced two new Chromebox models – the Chromebox CXI6, powered by Intel Core 7 processors and supporting up to four monitors, and the compact Chromebox Mini CXM2 with fanless design and Intel Core 3 processor. Both devices are available with Chrome Enterprise Upgrade, enabling simplified device management and enterprise security.

Swift Air 16 ultralight AI laptop

The Acer Swift Air 16 is the latest addition to the Swift series. At under 1 kg, it is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops available, crafted from magnesium-aluminium alloy. Equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors, the device offers Copilot+ PC features on Windows 11, up to 13 hours of battery life, and a choice between WQXGA+ AMOLED 120 Hz or WUXGA IPS displays.

The Swift Air 16 also includes a 2MP FHD IR camera with Windows Hello support, dual microphones, and versatile connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C ports, making it suitable for mobile professionals who demand both style and performance.

Veriton GN100 AI Mini Workstation

Expanding beyond laptops, Acer unveiled the Veriton GN100 AI Mini Workstation, powered by the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip. The workstation delivers up to 1 PFLOPS FP4 AI performance with 128 GB unified memory and 4 TB storage, enabling developers and researchers to run large AI models locally.

Pre-installed with the NVIDIA AI software stack and supporting popular frameworks like PyTorch and Jupyter, the Veriton GN100 offers server-grade performance in a compact form factor. Two units can be linked via NVIDIA ConnectX-7 SmartNIC to handle AI models of up to 405 billion parameters.
