"The new server is a great example of Fujitsu innovation and continuous drive to increase the power and flexibility of our cloud computing systems. Partner initiatives:

Fujitsu, in India, is also planning to conduct more partner-specific events. Speaking to ‘The DQ Week' on the sidelines of the launch, L.Ramprasad, General Manager, Channel Sales, Fujitsu, said, "A recent media report avers that only 10% of the SMBs/SMEs are prepared enough to face any form of IT disaster. A customer needs a solution which is viable, stable and reliable. Fujistu products meet all the expectations of the customers". Speaking on the partner-programme in the last financial year, Ramprasad said, "We train our partners on sales, pre-sales and technology through select partner training programme and we have trained our partners in all the 4 major cities. Through our events, in the last fiscal, we have trained 1242 partners across the country." Ramprasad also said that one of the key focus of Fujitsu in this fiscal would be identifying the ‘box-sellers' and mould them to climb up to the level of a solution provider. "We found lot of partners who are basically from tier-1 and tier-2 cities and are interested in fine tuning themselves to the next level and are ambitious of deploying big solutions." Ramprasad said adding that Fujitsu, in this fiscal, has planned to conduct events across 10 cities in the country along with Cyberstar.
