Comguard-WinMagic concludes first partner conference

Dubai based Comguard Networks, a part of the Spectrum Group of Companies, and WinMagic successfully concluded their first partner conference in Mumbai. The event was held on September 14, 2012 at Hotel Hilton, Mumbai.

Earlier in this month, Comguard Networks was appointed as the national distributor for WinMagic in India and has been leading the charge of expanding the market penetration for the company with the help of its channel base spread across the region.

Nameet Dokare, country head, WinMagic India; Malcolm Noronha, COO, Spectrum Group; Iain Airey, director, EMEA sales, WinMagic; Rob DeCarle, technical consultant, WinMagic and several other senior executives from both Comguard Networks and WinMagic were present at the conference.

Commenting at the event, Dokare said, "We recognize India as an important and upcoming market and we are committed to grow our presence in India. As a new entrant in the Indian market we are going to rely on Comguard's strengths and expertise to assist us in gaining market share."

Apart from the presentations from the companies, Rob deCarle, technical consultant, WinMagic conducted a demo of WinMagic products at the conference.
