CMDA invites Evolve to conduct training

Pune based Computers and Media Dealers Association (CMDA) recently invited Evolve, the first and only Apple Authorised Training Center in Mumbai, to conduct a special free technical seminar for its channel partner community.

Sanjay Jotwani, business head, EVOLVE (part of Plus Plus Consulting & Services) said, "The adoption and integration of Mac based desktop computers is here to stay and through this event, we went all out to make the channel community aware of this change in the enterprise ecosystem. The objective was to generate mind awareness while discussing the trends, challenges, and the way forward."

CMDA along with Evolve organized the event at Lakaki Board Room, MCCIA Chambers at Tilak Road in Pune. The seminar was attended by more than 105 participants and they were all support engineers. The seminar covered topics like Features of OS-Mac OS X and iOS, Applications -Built-in Apps and Apps Stores, Integration- With Windows server, Exchange and Networks, Compatibility- Compatibility of MS Office and Other Software & Peripherals and Syncing - Using Mac, iPad and iPhone in Sync. The expert trainer for the event was Arun Patwardhan, who is a well-known trainer cum software developer for iOS devices.

Jotwani said, "While this is very much a part of an on-going venture, we are happy to let you know that the event received a great response and has given a significant momentum to our endeavors. We have planned similar events in Bengaluru and Delhi. We are looking at consistently connecting with our channel partners to promote this venture and spread awareness. We believe this will enable and facilitate the overall adoption of Mac desktops."
