ACMA organizes ICT Show 2013

Gujarat based Ahmedabad Computer Merchant Association (ACMA) organized its 9th ACMA ICT show 2013 from 19th to 21st April 2013. The event was held at Gujarat University Exhibition Center, Drive in Road, Ahmedabad.

Commenting on this, Narendra Bhetaria, president of ACMA said, "This year the ICT Show l showcased Anti-virus software, accessories & peripherals, cloud computing solutions, data centers, e-waste management, IT & hardware enterprise solutions, gaming and entertainment, IT education, ITeS centric products and solutions, laptops, mobile devices, networking products, storage products, telecom products, video equipments, and much more."

Bhetaria stated, "This is the largest event in Gujarat and we are happy to organize this event every year. Furthermore, we are have witnessed increase in number of footfalls. This year we had more than 100 IT companies participating in the ICT Show."

ACMA ICT Expo had demo zones, had 2,400 IT products on display, a pavilion dedicated for Next-Generation IT Theme. The association also plans to conduct Cyber Crime awareness drive along with Gujarat Police and e-waste collection program. In addition, a Cyber Gaming Championship was organized along with many other live demonstrations at the venue. Bhetaria added, "There are many promotion schemes and programs that were announced at the Expo by vendors."

ACMA ICT Show had a wide gamut of sponsors wherein title sponsor was Canon, Mega Sponsor was Lenovo. Co sponsor was CARE and EARTH. The ICT Show is supported by Gujarat Police, CIO Gujarat Club, Department Of Science & Technology (DST), Govt of Gujarat, GIL, Federation Of Information Technology Association Of Gujarat (FITAG), Gujarat Electronics & Software Industries Association of India (GESIA), Gujarat Technological University (GTU), JITO (Ahmedabad chapter), MAIT and Nasscom.
