Riding high
with its retail strategies, Mumbai-based Zoom Computers &
Technologies is now all set to further enrich its retail business.
The company plans to open 5 more retail outlets in Andheri, Borivili,
Vashi, Panvel and Bandra by the end of this fiscal year. “Deciding
to expand our retail operations by opening 5 more retail outlets, we
will be increasing our retail showroom count to 13. We keep
increasing our retail outlets every year. For the current financial
year, we opened 3 retail outlets and are planning to open 1 more
before the end of this quarter,” informed Mandeep Singh, CEO, Zoom
Computers & Technologies.

According to
Zoom Computers, its retail business helps the company to serve
customers as per the market demands. And, with the rise of retail
business all over the country, the company draws a major chunk of its
revenue from its retailing market. “Our retail business contributes
to about 70% in our overall business growth. “ said Singh. The
company distributes products of several brands like HCL, HP, Lenovo,
Toshiba, Epson, Sony VAIO and many more.

In order to
maintain the total retail operations, the company has already
deployed an ERP solution for back-end operations. Singh opined, “We
are also planning to invest around Rs 2 crore in our retail venture
by the end of this fiscal year. It is not an easy task to maintain
retail operations in an organized manner.” Besides sharing his
retailing strategies, Singh also explained that Zoom Computers is all
set to strengthen its distribution space by adding 120 channel
partners in Mumbai.
