ZILS to organize Tech Career.U

Recognizing the concerns
emanating from the confusing scenario of the IT industry after the US slowdown,
Zee Interactive Learning Systems Ltd (ZILS) has organized a seminar ‘Tech
Career.U’ from May 18-26, 2001. This seminar will bring together CEO's from IT
industry, which will provide the insight into the software industry's present
challenges and discuss opportunities and future trends.

As several new horizons emerge
for IT professionals in Europe despite the US slowdown and new avenues gets
identified especially in IT enabled services segment, the seminar shall throw a
light on the changing trends. And will enable the participants to get to know
the rare perspectives of the leading IT companies as they plan for the future.

This is a live interactive
seminar and would be delivered using i-cell, the broadband platform of ZILS. It
would also enable the students and professionals to participate in this event
from various part of the country through ZED Career Academy, connected via V-SAT
network.

The speakers at the seminar
would be Arun Kumar, CEO, Hughes Software systems, Suresh Mahatre, Corporate
Head (HR), Tata Consultancy Services (Sourcing), Ashish Kumar, MD, Sun
Microsystems, Sanjay Malik, CM, Nokia (I) Ltd, Daniel Ingitraj, Industry
Technical Evangelist, Microsoft Corp (I) Ltd and Gautam Kumar, a partner with
McKinsey & Co.

ZILS this year will invest a sum
of Rs 50 crore to upgrade the architecture of the company and for opening new
educational centers in the country.
