Delhi-based
Zest Systems has entered into a partnership with Kaseya India to offer
automated management systems. The company is optimistic about the
growth of automated managed services in the country and will be looking
at deep selling into tier-2 and 3 cities. Speaking to The DQ Week,
Rajeev Mehta, CEO, Zest Systems said that they were majorly focusing on
networking, servers and PCs as their product portfolio, and always had
a solution-centric approach. "Besides product categories within
security and telecom, we have adopted Kaseya's automated managed
services for our domain and provide a complete end-to-end solution to
our existing customers," he said.

"In order to extend our geographic reach, we have recently opened our
office in Hyderabad and we are planning to expand our reach to smaller
towns that include class-B and C cities. This will facilitate deep
selling and addition of new customers," added Mehta. According to him,
the company has consolidated into infrastructure management solutions.
"In anticipation of an expected slowdown in 2008, we have already
started focusing on other business units that include imaging and
printing products, storage (SAN and NAS) and BCS (Unix Platform
Servers). We also trained and aligned our sales force accordingly," he
said.

“With Kaseya, auto managed services platform and remote diagnostic
solutions would expect to grow, and the company is ready to adopt
resources that could maximize its reach,” said Mehta. In addition, Zest
has already entered into a partnership with one of the leading Croatian
company that specializes in tolling solutions and equipment. “The
company is offering educational and training programs to our manpower
on our new product lines. Our scope of work here includes laying of
fiber cables and deployment of tolling, security and surveillance
systems as well IT equipment and other Highway Toll Management Systems
(HTMS) equipment. We have now successfully executed, and are in the
process of working with several highway toll plazas across the
country," said Mehta.
