Xpress Computers launches home theater PCs

In order to tap the high-end home consumers, Mumbai-based Xpress Computers

has launched its own brand of home theatre PCs. The company has introduced two

models including Xpress HTPC 1000 and Xpress HTPC 1200.

Talking about the products, Chetan Shah, CEO, Xpress Computers stated, “Home

theater PCs is an upcoming market and our target consumers want high-quality

sound, video and digital content facility delivered through one system itself.”

Citing the reasons behind the launch of the home theater PCs, Shah mentioned

that the PC market has nearly saturated and home users are now looking at

products that can serve more than one purpose.

The above products have 10 channels, LCD/plasma screen and offers HDMI

quality. Xpress Computers will be displaying the above products at its demo

centers in their bid to give the consumers touch and feel experience. In

addition, the above products can also be availed online and purchased through

its online website

“The online store will enable us to reach wider geographies. We are looking

at targeting the high-end home user segment and will also have online gaming

features in PCs. We will also provide end-to-end home theater solutions for

those clients who wish to enjoy the experience of home theater by placing the PC

everywhere in their homes. We will also configure the models depending upon the

consumers demand,” he added.
