The company claims it to be the world's fastest 7-inch Android tablet, in India available for only INR 17,999.

"As a company we are just over a year old and tablets have come to our portfolio around 2.5 months back," says Sunil Raina, business head, Xolo.

"To target 10% market share would be reasonable in terms of units," he added.

Asked why not a cheaper price range at the time when competitions are luring customers with a lower price range, Raina mentions, "It is not about price, it is about certain customers having specific need. So there are people who would appreciate what have gone into this device and therefore they don't mind paying for the value that it offers."

He adds that it is more about value rather than the price and if the prices are reduced then some of the experiences have to be compromised.

While as it claimed to be the fasted 7 inch android tablet, NVDIA, the technology provider says that the company has been trying to bring out experiences that is not innovated within a commodity market and trying to cater to different requirements.

Currently, Xolo works with 90 partners for distributing its products across the country along with 5000 multi brand retail outlets.
