FX, known for its high-quality graphic cards focused on the gaming segment, will be soon introducing gaming accessories for the Indian market. This will include, gaming pads, racing wheels and gaming headsets. By doing so, the XFX is looking at becoming a complete gaming solutions company.
Gaming headsets, as an addition to company's gaming
accessories product, was only debuted recently in the international market.
"India will get these accessories in the next two months," said Sunny
Narain, Senior Sales Manager, XFX, Hong Kong.
Few years ago, when XFX upped its focus on India market by
appointing Rashi Peripheral as its exclusive distributor, it was selling only a
few hundred graphics cards in a month. But today, the company claims to be
selling around 10 to 15 thousand cards per month.
According to Narain, gaming industry in India is waiting to
explode in the next two years. He explains this saying, "China's was just
like the India market about a couple of years ago. But today it is one of the
biggest markets for gaming devices. Going by the current trend for graphic card
business in India, this can happen well within two years."
Anticipating major growth, the company has made serious plans
for the India market. "In the next six months if the company achieves
justifiable volumes, we might even set up office here," he said. Currently,
the company claims to holds majority market share in India.
XFX is a division of the PINE group that specializes in the
