Xerox reinforces its digital printing leadership

Xerox Corporation, showcased its latest range of digital and office

printers with innovative applications for the commercial print market

at Print Pack Sign Expo 2011, a four day print expo at Guwahati. To

strengthen its foothold in the East region, Xerox showcased a range

of short run, trans-promotional, specialty imaging, security printing

applications.

Through live demonstration

of its portfolio of color products from office to production range,

the event created awareness about the benefits of digital printing

and educate partners on Xerox products and solutions. Xerox showcased

a range of 'On Demand Printing' and various other applications on

its black and white and color machines including Xerox Colour 550

printer, Xerox 4112, Xerox wide format 7142, 7425 and Xerox Wide

format - 6605 solution. It demonstrated how digital printers can

increase business productivity and explore new revenue opportunities

on the showcased models.

This is the first time

that a print expo took place in the North East region on such a large

scale. The showcase was primarily targeted to make the commercial

print segment aware of the growing digital print market and the

opportunity lying ahead. Xerox has kick started this journey and is

looking to tap print-on-demand, short run applications and book

publishing market in the region.

Speaking at the event

Arvind Chabra, regional head-North and East, Value Segment, Xerox

India said, “Our participation at Print Pack 2011 was a great

opportunity for us to further expand our customer base and educate

them on commercial printing capabilities. We received an elating

response from all our customers and looking at this response, we want

to strengthen our equity by providing quality short run and on demand

printing within the best turnaround time. The equipment we showcased

at the event highlighted the versatility, scalability and performance

that is perfect for commercial printing environments. Xerox will

continue to provide the best in class pre and post-sales support to

its customers in this region.”

Expressing their delight

at the expo, SP Enterprises said, “By showcasing its products and

solutions at Print Pack 2011, Guwahati, Xerox has reinforced its

commitment for the North East market.”

Adding to it, A P Trading

Company said, “We are delighted that Xerox has made a strong entry

in our market backed by superlative equipments. We are convinced that

now we would only be buying Xerox's products to improve our

business efficiency.”

Samir Kr Das, a potential

Xerox customer from Das Photostat added, “We have been associated

with Xerox for many years now. Looking at their strong portfolio at

the expo, we would be buying the Xerox 550/ 4112.”

Chabra added, “As part

of our pan-India expansion plan for the year, we are looking at

making deeper inroads and reach out to the commercial printing

community in North East. The tremendous growth of the print on demand

industry in addition to short runs, forms the foundation for this

business opportunity. Despite our leadership in the digital printing

market, the strategy is to pull further and grow in this and make

customers realize the business efficacy of print on demand and short

runs to remain competitive today."
