Xerox appoints Redington as its disti for office suite

Xerox India Ltd has announced appoint-ment of Redington India Ltd as a Xerox

distributor in India with immediate effect. As a part of this agreement, Red-ington

will distribute Xerox's suite of Office products that includes laser printers,

facsi-mile and MFDs.

As part of the agreement that was signed by JS Kulkarni CEO of Redington

(India) and Natesh Mani, Executive Direc-tor-new office group, Xerox India,

Redington will buy products from Xerox India and sell them to channel partners,

value added resellers, system integrators and existing Xerox loyal sales

promotion agents.

Speaking on the partner-ship with Redington, Mani said, "Redington India

has one of the strongest net-works of resellers and offices in the country and

the partnership will help extend the reach of Xerox's products to a larger

base of Indian IT customers, businesses and consumers."

Adding to it Kulkarni said, "Xerox is a very strong brand and has a good

business model. These strengths of Xerox coupled with Reding-ton's strong

partner base and extensive reach would create several new and profitable

opportunities for the channel and also help both the comp-anies grow their

business."
