In 2001, Xansa announced investments in India of over Rs 160 crore over three years to set up three technology centers in Chennai, Pune and second center in NOIDA (near Delhi).

The Chennai campus will be developed in six phases. Phase I construction is comprised of the initial software development unit, employee housing facilities and the regional office. The following phases will provide additional software development units and hostel blocks, a recreation club and canteen. The Chennai campus also marks further development of this recently established IT business community with modern architectural, environmental and recreational features.

Development of the Pune campus, with capacity for 3000 employees, is expected to start later this year. The NOIDA technology center, near Delhi, is already under construction and is anticipated to be operational by December 2002.
