Wipro partners with CIDCO to implement of IT solutions

Bangalore based Wipro has partnered with City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd (CIDCO) in its initiatives to transform Navi Mumbai into a preferred destination for IT companies. In this regard the company would implement all the modules of SAP along with SAP's real-estate module.

The implementation of SAP is the first implementation of its kind for a government agency. Wipro would also implement a Geographical Information System (GIS) for CIDCO that would help CIDCO and its customers view data online when it is working on its housing projects.

Furthermore, Wipro would also be implementing the customer management, data warehousing and HR modules of SAP for CIDCO as part of the project. Some key benefits CIDCO is expecting from this implementation include streamlining CIDCO's business processes, increasing customer responsiveness and reduction of cycle times for request processing and customer query handling. Wipro would also 

provide Infrastructure Management Services to CIDCO as well as application management and application support services.
