In tandem with its commitment to growing a stronger presence in India, WeWork is experiencing rapid growth with recently opening its fifth location in Mumbai, WeWork K Raheja Platinum and also launched its newest space, WeWork Salarpuria Magnificia, marking the latter its sixth location in Bengaluru. Aimed at uplifting businesses to the next level, Mumbai’s K Raheja Platinum thrives in its prime location and edge in the vicinity. Situated in a central part of a growing business hub, the new workspace provides quick access to the Marol metro station, providing members with easy transportation options in an otherwise congested business hub.

Salarpuria Magnificia, a newly constructed building comes equipped with WeWork’s hallmark features: community bar, dedicated offices, unique conference rooms and a wellness/meditation room. With the location being pet-friendly, it also boasts an energizing game room, outdoor areas and easy access to the Tin Factory bus stop that ensures daily hassle-free commute.

Occupying eight floors, WeWork K Raheja Platinum caters to supporting the vast workforce in the surrounding industries ranging from major startups to enterprises from diverse sectors. Occupying the top three floors of a highest building in the vicinity, WeWork Salarpuria Magnificia is fronted by expansive views of the surroundings. In addition, the concept of the building was inspired by its surroundings – weaving in a structural flow using organic shapes, taking water as a key inspiration from the lake opposite the building.

Each floor at WeWork’s newest Bengaluru space, WeWork Salarpuria Magnificia, has a different type of interior glazing, making every lounge areas feel different. Materials such as corrugated metal lends the space with a fine industrial touch, which had inspiration drawn from the factory complex next to the building synonymous with the area. Keeping the concept in mind, the space also uses an earthy palette of blues added with a hint of salmon and terracotta in the tiles while planters add overall warmth to the space.

Materials like concrete and plywood retain the raw vibe of the space whilst the “S” shaped community bar and curved banquet seating connected with a custom light fixture becomes the highlight feature of the space. Along with a connecting staircase, this opens out to the lounge spaces and livens up with bright colours and pops of neon against the naturally light-filled space. Along with continuing the rhythm, one of the lounges also features a series of bulbs that forms a wave structure atop the communal dining area.

While flow in design permeates Bengaluru’s Salarpuria Magnificia, the overall interiors and artwork in Mumbai’s Raheja Platinum is equally unique. Combined with a curved facade against the tall glass building, this allows for ample natural light to seep into the space against the expansive background of the surrounding landscape. The colours used in the overall look of the building maintains a fresh and natural theme with lots of tan, olive and mustard, along with adding pops of pink and blue to inject energy in the space while balancing colours and texture. With the community bar designed in sync with the rest of the building’s design, it is also slightly curved along with curated furnitures that has its own minute details incorporated in subtle ways.

To add a little quirk, some of the corners have been converted into secret nooks with a view of the outside that is perfect for some quiet and down time. The main entrance lobby - a tall vertical space with large custom pendant light fixtures - steals the show and an extensive use of art of a curated mix of neon/murals in the ground floor lobby also adds an extra zeal to the entire space.

Both buildings boast pet-friendly areas, multiple conference and conversation rooms. An immaculate terrace space with a massive infinity pool at Raheja Platinum makes it the optimal spot for events, apart from WeWork’s signature elements like phone booths, nooks, game room, meditation/wellness room and large common areas that converge together to cultivate a strong sense of community.
