VMware's PEX conducted in Bengaluru

VMware, the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, recently hosted its Partner Exchange 2013 on Tour in Bangalore. The tour kicked off in Mumbai on April 8, 2013 and has already covered New Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad, aims to enable partners in the region to learn how to grow and transform their businesses for the cloud era with VMware. Partner Exchange 2013 on Tour has attracted over 2,500 senior executives, sales professionals and technical experts from VMware's community of solution providers, technology alliances, systems integrators, distributors and OEMs in the region. The event in Bangalore saw over 500 attendees.

Partners have had an opportunity to engage and hear first-hand from VMware executives and their peers about new partner programs, best practices and training roadmaps to help them successfully deliver VMware virtualization and cloud solutions in the region. "Partners of all sizes come to VMware Partner Exchange to network and further their knowledge of VMware solutions, as customers are realizing the benefits of the software-defined datacenter," said Ganesan Arumugam, director, partner channel, VMware India. "VMware Partner Exchange offers partners in the region a chance to learn how to help customers progress on their cloud journey, with extensive content and engagements that are designed to help expand their expertise.

Some of the key objectives of the partner meet are to learn how to expand a partner's business by cross-selling VMware solutions and services, networking with other partners, VMware experts and executives, to make the partners gain insights on understanding and identifying customer needs and providing discount up to 50 percent on VCP exams and achieve solution competencies
