Vivo launches V1 smartphone in India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched a new series of smartphone: V series. The smartphones part of this series will be priced between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.

Vivo V1, the first phone in the series sports a 5-inch HD screen (1080x1920p).

The dual sim smartphone sports a 13MP primary camera along with an 5MP secondary camera.

Powered by a 64-bit quad core Snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB RAM, the smartphone offers 16GB of internal storage and can support microSD cards of up to 128GB.

Vivo V1 runs Android Lollipop 5.0-based Funtouch OS 2.1 and packs a 2,300mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the phone offers support for 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The phone will be available in two colours: Silver & Gold. The company has not revealed specific details about the availability and price of the smartphone.
