The farmers of more than 303 villages of Huzur Tahsil in Bhopal district will
not have to run after patwaris for copies of land related documents now. Copies
of these documents will now be provided to them within a day with the help of
computers.
Bablikhera was the only exception where the farmers would still have to
suffer as information with regard to land records of this particular village was
yet to be sent by the concerned person.
According to information, records of ‘Khasra’ and ‘Khatoni’ —
documents related with land — of 303 villages of Huzur district have been
stored in computer. Now, copies of these documents, old not beyond two years,
would be provided within a day by paying a fee of Rs 10. While, the copies of
records, which were old beyond two years, were still to be computerized.
The farmers of Bawlikhedi village were not lucky enough to get copies of
these documents within such a short period, as details of these records have not
been provided by the concerned. Raghuvir, a farmer of Bawlikheri needed copy of
‘Khasra’ in order to obtain loan and has contacted the patwari concerned of
the village repeatedly but to no avail.
Sunilraj Nair, Tahsildar has also confirmed the report that land records
related to Bawlikheri village were yet to be computerized. He said this
information have not been provided by officials concerned. Letters and reminders
in this regard have already been sent. He further informed that application for
copies of these documents can be deposited from 10 am to 2 pm and they can
collect the same by 5 pm the same day.
Rajendra Chowkse, a farmer from Labakhera, on the other hand, needed copy of
Khasra and the same was provided to him within a day.
