Delhi-based Vidur and Co Pvt Ltd has opened a sales outlet in Wazirpur
Industrial Area, a place that is fast mush-rooming into a mini Nehru place to
serve the Northwest Delhi IT market. The commu-nity center area is clustered
with more than two hundred IT dealers with a majority of resellers and a few sub
distributors.
"Initially, the new outlet will provide an inventory of all HP IT
peripherals. We will soon make other products from Samsung and Microsoft
available at the outlet," informed Keshav Madhav of Vidur.
Strategically located, the office aims to serve North Delhi resellers who
find it difficult to purchase their products from Nehru place due to time and
money constraints. The company claims to provide a 48 hours service to
customers.
The new outlet will be dealing with the same prod-ucts available at its Nehru
Place outlet. Madhav emphasized that the outlet was geared to pull maximum
business from Northwest based resellers and increase business coming in from
Haryana and Punjab. He also added that IT prospects in North Delhi were
increasing and hence they saw an opportunity to capitalize on this growing
market.
Madhav was confident that the new office would show a 30-40 percent incre-ase
in sales and entry-level products would definitely pick up sales. "The
600x46 sq ft office, which cost a capital of Rs five-lakh, will generate
business in crores," he added optimistically. Next on his expansion plans
are Laxmi Nagar and Janak Puri.
