Uttarakhand association organizes blood donation camp

UIITA in association with the IMA Blood Bank organized a blood donation camp at Carpri Trade Centre on July 27 to help to the worst affected.

At a time of extreme crisis in the flood-ravaged Uttarakhand, Dehradun based Uttrakhand IT Traders Association(UITTA) has come forward to extend its support to the victims of the calamity. UIITA in association with the IMA Blood Bank organized a blood donation camp at Carpri Trade Centre on July 27 to help to the worst affected.

As Capri Trade Centre is the IT Hub of the state, the venue was thronged by UITTA members who enthusiastically came forward to donate blood. UIITA member organizations and their staff also contributed to the noble cause.

According to Naresh Batra, president of UITTA, "Not just the members of UITTA but even the public at large who were shopping at IT market also came forward. He also urged the need to make this camp a big success so that maximum help can be extended to the needy in the state.

The total strength of donors was a strong 100+ in numbers and the office bearers of IMA appreciated the UITTA effort to a great extent.
