ASSET to give CISCO certifications

ASSET INTERNATIONAL, a premier computer training institute on the Park Road,
launched a course for CISCO Certifications. This is a unique course being
offered for the first time in this part of the country. With this, ASSET
International, Park Road center, has become the first computer institute in the
North Indian to launch such a unique job-oriented course.

UPPC for online billing

As part of its long term drive towards improving the power system and firming
revenue realization in the state and its capital, the Uttar Pradesh Power
Corporation Ltd will begin the online billing system in Lucknow from July 7 and
in other cities thereafter.

A New b2b portal

SBP Consultants and Engineers, a Delhi-based consultancy firm, has launched a
unique portal on the industrial projects. The company has launched portal
www.sbp-projectfinder.com after 30 years of intense research work in identifying
industrial projects. It provides all project information which a corporate or
entrepreneur may need to initiate the growth and diversification process on the
right foot. According to RK Gupta, CEO, SBP Consultants, the basic idea behind
the inception of the portal was to make it one stop shop for the aspiring and
even established entrepreneurs in India and abroad.

NCC for a new website

The directorate of NCC of UP and Uttranchal would soon launch its website.
The website to be launched on July 6 would be full of information on various
incentives being given to NCC cadets and application forms for applying for NCC
training would also be there.

SSi’s Road Show

SSI organized a road show and was held to give information to the Lucknowites
about the various courses that have been designed by its ISO certified knowledge
division. SSI is the first company to bring Oracle, Microsoft and Java products
to India. The road shows that got an overwhelming response also marked the
launch of IMPACT a special SSI course designed for college students.

C-DAC’s new courses

C-DAC, a scientific society of Ministry of IT, Govt. of India, has emerged as
an established IT solution provider. These encompass R&D, advanced computing
training (PACE and ACTS) through system integration and advanced computing
solution. Its center at Indira Nagar is providing pre-placement guidance and
personality development to ensure a good future for the students. It also
provides WET (Work and Experience Training) free for one month to its deserving
students.

Asset’s Enterprize Computing course

Asset International, the professional training arm of Aptech Limited launched
its new course in Enterprize Computing. This short-term course is about
computing framework and related technologies and allows to develop enterprise
applications using the J2EE platform. This program offers software programmers
portability, security and scalability for Java 2 platform, along with cross
platform compatibility and maintainability in the enterprise applications
market. Asset has Sun Microsystems, IBM, Microsoft, Prometric, Lotus, Oracle and
Novell as its official training partners and has also ties up with AITCI of
Australia to promote education abroad and is also authorized as a Sun Training
Center.

NIIT has a new center

The NIIT Gauri Bazar Center with C+QM curriculum was opened this week to
cater to the needs of the people of the area. Committed to providing quality
training, under its curriculum it conducts seminars at regular intervals and
undertakes project presentations prepared by the students. Last year’s 16,000
