Delhi based Unique Infoways is all set to redefine electronic retailing, with the opening of a mega electronics mall, first of its type in the country. This high tech mall, which is spread across 40,000 sq ft, is located in Delhi's Nehru Place Metro Station. This mega store will be showcasing more than 100 brands, around the clock (24x7). This mega mall is christened as House of Technology (HOT).
Speaking exclusively to The DQ Week, Ravi Khurana, VP operation, Unique Infoways, said, "We are venturing into a never before happened initiative where we bring together an experience never felt before in this part of the world. This initiative branded as HOT, an IT and electronics business hub of NCR and North India, caters to end-to-end needs of retail customers. This mall will be capturing a foot fall of 75,000 commuters everyday. We expect about 12,000 visitors to the mall on a daily basis who are tech savvy, decision makers, students and more. It is going to have 24x7 IT and electronics exhibition/demonstration infrastructure in place, targeting to make it the ultimate destination for all brands and users to converge in the NCR region."
This mega mall will be offering several unique services to the end customers and IT companies, telecom and consumer electronic brands. This mall will be equipped with conference hall, product launch room, hot spots, live demonstration center and all the world-class products and latest technology will be the key attraction of this store.
Unique Infoways will be investing from acquiring the land to complete infrastructure, promotion activity, etc. The mall is designed by Bengaluru based Idiom Design and Consulting. The company is targeting to sell 15,000 laptops, 20,000 smartphones and 3,000 LEDs TV in a month. The exterior has 15 huge hording which will be visible from everywhere in Nehru Place. (Two will be the largest digital displays in the country.)
The grand opening of this mall is expected to be held in the mid of December. Key decision makers like CEOs, CTOs, Center Government Officials and the elite class who avoid Nehru Place will enjoy being part of this great celebration.
It is targeted to be the only place to have a display of all electronic products in an organized fashion. Having all products under one roof giving price comparison, technical comparison, helping decision makers to arrive at decision with the help of highly competent trained man power.
Khurana added, "We have tied up with several brands and invited them to create their own exclusive formats to promote their products and services under the Shop-In-Shop (SIS) concept which is being introduced for the first time in India. Broadly, the company will be opening two more HOT mall in Mumbai and Hyderabad in the year 2013, whereby it will expand the reach of its small-ulti branded stores e-future from 3 -13 next year in Delhi-NCR.
The mall will have a wide range of products covering IT, networking, SME solutions, retail solutions, mobile, camera, LCD, tablets, gaming, MP3 player, printing and imaging, navigation solutions, application software, surveillance, projection solutions, telecom, life style products and office commercial products.
