The Union Bank of India will soon have eight ATM counters in Orissa, its AGM
in charge of Orissa OP Dua said. The state was having two ATM counters in
Bhubaneswar. One more ATM counter was formally opened on May 17, 2004.
"We are going to open two more ATM counters in the city in the next
couple of months," informed Dua. The bank at present has 250 ATMs in the
country.
In Orissa the bank has about 48 branches. "We are going to increase it
to 60 in the coming months. Similarly, we have planned to open ATMs in other
major towns of the state where we have branches," Dua said while opening
the third ATM at city’s Bibekananda Marg.
