The fest will be inaugurated by Dinesh Jain, minister of state for IT, Govt of Uttrakhand.

The expo aims to showcase wide variety of products to end customers, who otherwise get little chance to see latest technologies. Moreover, to gain their maximum attention, the association has already started to create awareness about this grand event, through various mediums.

"We will be distributing handouts and pamphlets at most of the public places like PVR cinemas and malls. Additionally, a roadshow will be kick starting from December 10, where a mobile van will be moving around in residential area and create the buzz. More than 500 invitations has already been sent out to different departments of government, educational institutes, schools and colleges. With all our efforts, we would intend to break our 2010 event records in terms of footfalls and sales revenue," informed Vikas Dewan, secretary, UITTA.
