UdayaBhaskar Rao Abburu appointed as MD of Iram Technologies

UdayaBhaskar Rao Abburu, Co-Founder and currently working as COO, has been elevated to become Managing Director. In a recent board meeting, members have accepted Syam Madanapalli, Co-Founder’s resignation for the post of Managing Director.

“I am very much delighted to take up the role of Managing Director of IRAM. I believe that IoT is the emerging technology for the next five years. Many start-ups are working on various products and solutions over the past two years in this domain. But I am proud to say that IRAM is the only revenue-making company in the IoT domain. We are expanding our product portfolio and our team in the coming months. We are targeting on Smart City solutions for India and other emerging markets and designing specific solutions for that. We are targeting sales of US$3.0 million for the FY 2015-16,” said Udaya.

Udaya has about 26 years of experience in design, development, marketing and sales of telecom products. Udaya worked for various telecom companies like ADVA Optical Networking SE, Germany, Ordyn Technologies, India, Telsima Corporation, India Turin Networks, USA, Metro Optix, USA at various senior level positions. He was instrumental in winning big contracts worth of about US$200 million from BSNL, RailTel, PGCIL for Telecom Transmission products in his previous roles.
